Even Bloggers Get Tired

I had big plans to write all about my weekend at Mardi Gras in Galveston. Big big plans. I was going to tell you about the parades, the house, my family, the food. But then last night I went to the other side of the world to watch the Superbowl at Lauren’s house and now I’m tired. We drove from Galveston to the other side of the world (about 2 hours) and then from the other side of the world to our house (a bit over an hour) and I don’t feel like telling any stories. Maybe I’ll tell you about it later this week.
I just wanted to check in to tell you that the Ten on Tuesday questions are posted. I think this week’s are pretty good. If you have a batch to submit, send them my way! chelsea(at)rootsandrings(dot)com.
Also, I wanted to show you this picture.
I do believe I have the cutest niece in the world. Need more proof?
So that’s all I’ve got to offer you today. But I doubt that you mind. Avery pictures are better than my stories any day!
How was your weekend?

Avery is very cute.
The weekend was great and stressful, kitties have an upper respiratory infection so we were popping pills and spraying Lysol all weekend, my little dog Tuffy kept looking at me like “will you please stop doing that,” sorry Tuff, we have to kill the germ.
I went to my mom’s on Saturday for our day of movies, we got
Julie and Julia- I liked the movie, but I wish it was more about Julia Child, it could be because I really like Meryl Streep, but I liked it. It was good
Cloudy with Meatballs- for my little nephew, who did not watch it, but we did, not bad for a kids movie.
All about Steve- with Sandra Bullock- I thought it was a very funny movie and enjoyed it a lot.
Then I cleaned house on Sunday and waited for the big game, New Orleans was my pick and I am very excited for them. The men I work with were all saying that the Colts were going to take it, they were talking all kind of smack on Friday, but when I came in this morning and was laughing at them, then they said they did not care that the Colts were not even their team. LOL What happened to all the smack talk. LOLLOL I am not letting them get away with it, I am really enjoying myself today. LOLLOL
So that is about it, I hope you get some rest and feel better.

Hey Chelsea- I just wanted to let you know that my book may be a bit late if we get another blizzard tomorrow as they are threatening. I may not be able to get out of my neighborhood to a Post Office in time to get it there on time.

OK, now that is one cute baby.
Of course I spent yesterday evening eating like a pig and rooting for the Saints. I am paying the price today. Oh yes I am.

Oh, my gosh! That second photo of Avery is so cute! I have one like that of my nephew where he’s all scrunched up in his baby carrier and looking like the perfect Anne Geddes baby.
