Just A Few Things

Not much to discuss today. I chose to be computer-less last night and I don’t have any fun stories for you. There are just a few things I’d like to say.

-Remember a couple weeks ago I told you that my doctor said I was measuring big? Today is the day we have our ultrasound to figure out why. So we’ll either find out that Jansen is a big boy or that I have too much fluid in my uterus. I’ve been really good and only consulted The Google the day of my last appointment. I knew I’d go crazy if I read all the possibilities of what could be wrong. So I’m currently not stressed. I know God has it all under control. If there is too much fluid in my uterus, He’ll get us through it. He already has a game plan and He’s just waiting for the right time to reveal it. So if you’d do me a favor and say a few prayers today at 2:30, I’d be very appreciative. Like I said, I’m not stressing. It’s very likely that he’s growing quickly since he comes from a long line of jolly green giants!

-Have you ever been so overwhelmed by someone’s kindness that you don’t even know how to express it? I don’t want to go into too much detail because I know that wasn’t this person’s intention… but yesterday I came home and there was a package on my doorstep. Inside was one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received. I read the card no less than 5 times and held the gift in my arms. To the giver, you know who you are, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank you enough!

-Our email has been down at work for 2.5 days. It’s been nice to be able to catch up on some “less important” items without being interrupted, but now I’m at the point where I’m terrified of what my inbox will look like when it comes back on. In other news: Fax machines frustrate me. I’m on the verge of going Office Space on our ancient machine.
