Writer’s Block

September 15, 2010 at 7:30 am 15 comments

I love this blog. I’m sure you’ve all figured that out by now. I had a baby and there wasn’t a day that went by without a post. I think of it as my public journal, I can look back and read posts and remember that part of my life. Granted, some portions of my life are dull as dirt, but at least I have full documented proof of it!

This is not boring. My life is exciting right now. I have this precious little baby that I get to spend all day loving and cuddling and staring at. And while it may be the biggest thing that’s ever happened to me, it’s also giving me a serious case of writer’s block. I do have several things to write about but I just can’t seem to actually sit down and write it. That’s my goal today. Today I will, at the very least, start a post about the birth story. Hopefully I’ll get going and be able to finish it, but I’m not going to put money on it.

Baby steps.

While staring at baby chests.

And listening to baby breaths.

LOL The car seat pic is adorable, little skinny legs, so cute.

No need to stress over some thing to say, just keep the pics coming, can’t get enough of them.

Writing can wait….babies cannot. They grow up toooo fast, as you will soon discover. Treasure this time with precious Jansen. It is so fleeting.
    love you

What a sweet precious little guy. Enjoy every moment….the blog (and life) can wait. But, those little babies grow up before you know it. Enjoy being on maternity and cherish this sweet time with Jansen.

I have decided that everyday you should post a Jansen picture. It helps me not go crazy from missing him so much.

Love the ending to the post. At least you’re writing. Life has been so busy over here in Waco that Matt and I haven’t even made the attempt to write (although I like to remind him it’s his turn since I wrote the last two).

PS once you’re done with the birth story, you should consider finishing the story of how you met Stephen.

    Oh and hi Jansen!

Jansen’s just such a cute baby! No wonder you want to spend every second with him… I guess that’s just normal. Just enjoy the time with him…

Chelsea, he’s adorable and you should take all the time you need! You have plenty to keep you busy as is!

He is all that is important right now – he, you and Stephen….enjoy, take it all in and don’t miss a minute. Wrtiing can wait – you will not have this time again with Jansen. Snuggle, kiss, watch, smell and love on him….(and occasionally let us do that too!) 🙂

i’d be totally content with a new picture each day if that’s all you felt like posting. Or not posting at all because I know that you’re totally enjoying this motherhood thing (and I’m sure you rock at it too!)

He’s so adorable i don’t blame you for having writer’s block. I have it and I haven’t had a baby so not sure what that says about me 🙂
