Maybe When I Go Back To Work, My Blog Will Be Interesting Again
– That is the longest title I’ve ever written.
– Stephen is taking the day off tomorrow and we’re taking Jansen to the zoo. Yes, we are aware that he is only 6 weeks (HOLY COW MY BABY IS 6 WEEKS) and won’t know what’s going on. That’s not the point.
– I’m really not sure what I’m going to wear when I go back to work next week. I’m still too big for my pre-baby clothes but too small for my maternity clothes. And from what I hear, my hips may never fit into my pre-baby jeans. So yeah… pickle.
– I got my glasses re-readjusted. I hope the third time’s a charm. If not, I’ll go back and try again!
– Did y’all enter the giveaway on Lauren’s blog? I think you should. My wonderfully creative sister is the creator of the items. Click here to check it out.
– HOLY COW MY BABY IS 6 WEEKS OLD!
– Stephen and I are going on a date on Friday night to this pizza place in Houston. I told you about it many moons ago. Actually, I told you about a specific pizza that had arugula, pears, and truffle oil… and was pure bliss. I think about that pizza often and my wonderful husband suggested we go have one on Friday. I’m very much looking forward to it.
– I think Facebook is doing bad things for breast cancer awareness. They’ve somehow managed to make it a tacky way to talk about bra colors and where you “like it.” (Yes I know they are referring to where you put your purse but what the heck does that have to do with breast cancer?!) I think it’s dumb. I think it would be a much better use of our statuses if we all said “Get a mammogram!!!” or “Praise God, two of my aunts are cancer survivors!!” Right?
– I hate that my child is wide awake after his 10:00 feeding. But I love rocking him and rubbing his soft baby hair. And I love when he stares up at me. I just imagine him saying, “But Mama, I don’t want to go night night.”
– The verdict is in: I love my Kindle. (Especially while breastfeeding!)
– Also, I love my husband. I have no specific reason today, but I thought I should mention it.
