My child now fits in the Huggies Diaper Jeans. We’ll have a photo shoot sometime, hopefully featuring a button down shirt and some boots. Maybe I’ll borrow my MIL’s awesome camera so they actually look good.

The weather this week has been absolutely amazing. It’s the kind of weather that reminds me how thankful I am to be a Texan. (Like I really need reminding…)

Every week I write this list while I’m watching the hilarious line up on NBC and every week I want to talk about how hilarious 30 Rock or Parks and Rec are. But then I realize that that is a really boring thing to say, so I don’t say it. But I think I just need to throw it out there. Sorry if that was boring.

Does anyone have any big plans this weekend? I have a few. They involve seeing some very special friends of mine.

Crying it out has been pretty successful. Jansen sleeps through the night most nights. Other nights he wakes up and fusses for about 5-10 minutes and then goes back to sleep. The only time we go see him is if it’s after 5am when he starts fussing. Then I go in and give him his binkie so that he’ll sleep while we shower and get ready. So really, Jansen is a rockstar. He’s happy and giggly and sleeps well. I am actually scared to see what my second child will be like. I can’t possibly have two easy children.

I’m so glad that the sleep training/crying it out is working! What a little rockstar you have there.
And I can’t wait to see the pictures of him in the huggie jean diapers. Too adorable. Cowboy boots and a cowboy hat… would that be too much!? 😉
Happy Friday and enjoy seeing those special friends of yours!

Don’t tell anyone, but I watch the Thursday shows while at work, and I have to stiffle myself because the stuff they put out there is stinkin’ hilarious. Don’t even get me started on Perfect Couples. Love at first sight.

Actually – for number 5 – I thought the same thing. I was terrified. But so far so good.
Big plans that include lunch with a couple of great ladies and a wine tasting 101 at a local wine shop. That spells great weekend to me.

I have to say, since I don’t have kids, I hadn’t heard of Diaper Jeans. But when I read the words “Diaper Jeans,” it made me think of Pajama Jeans and the combination of those 2 thoughts were just…wrong.
But yay! I love babies in grown up clothes. And yay for sleeping through the night!!
